You can save, edit, delete, and play specific clips of an audiobook right from the player in your app. Creating clips makes it easy to replay your favorite sections, quotes, or bits of dialogue. They can be as long as 44 seconds and as short as 5 seconds. You can also bookmark certain places you’d like to return to later from both the app or Cloud Player on web. 

Notes:

• Any clip you save in the app will also add a bookmark.
• You can only bookmark podcasts.
• Selecting Go to Bookmark from the app or Cloud Player will resume playback from that exact position. 
• You aren’t able to add or manage clips from the website—only the app.

Save an audio clip

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the Clip icon to automatically save 30 seconds.

Edit an audio clip

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu.
3. Select Clips & notes.
4. Find the clip you’d like to edit and select the 3-dot menu.
5. Select Edit clip.
6. Drag the audio clip handles to set your desired beginning and end point. 
7. Select Save.

Add a note to your clip

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu.
3. Select Clips & notes.
4. Find the clip you’d like to edit and select the 3-dot menu
5. Select Add Note.
6. Enter your note.
7. Select Save.

Delete an audio clip

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu.
3. Select Clips & notes.
4. Find the clip you’d like to delete and select Delete.

Play a saved audio clip

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu.
3. Select Clips & notes. 
4. Find the clip you’d like to listen to and select Play.

Add a bookmark 

In Cloud Player

1. Go to a title’s detail page.
2. Select Play to open the Cloud Player.
3. Select the Add a Bookmark icon.

In the app

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Do one of the following:

• For audiobooks, select the Clip icon to automatically save a bookmark along with a clip.
• For podcasts, select the Bookmark icon.

Go to a saved bookmark

In Cloud Player

1. Go to a title’s detail page.
2. Select Play to open the Cloud Player.
3. Select the 3-dot menu at the top of the page or screen.
4. Select Bookmarks and choose the one you’d like to visit.

In the app

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu and do one of the following:\
   1. For audiobooks, select Clips & notes.
   2. For podcasts, select Bookmarks.
3. Select Go to Bookmark.

Delete a saved bookmark

In the Cloud Player

1. Go to a title’s detail page.
2. Select Play to open the Cloud Player.
3. Select the 3-dot menu at the top of the page or screen.
4. Select Bookmarks.
5. Select the 3-dot menu.
6. Select Delete bookmark.

In the app

1. Open a title’s Player screen.
2. Select the 3-dot menu and do one of the following:
   1. For audiobooks, select Clips & notes.
   2. For podcasts, select Bookmarks.
3. Find the bookmark you’d like to delete and select the 3-dot menu.
4. Select Delete.
